Meat process control with MeatMaster™ II

MeatMaster™ II - food analysis using X-ray

With the new MeatMaster™ II you get the same renowned accuracy of the popular MeatMaster I, but the unit is half the length and is easier to integrate in-line in your production.

MeatMasterTM II offers a leading accuracy for fat analysis, 0,5% or even better depending on user situations. This exceptional accuracy offers more value to the users than any other in-line fat analyser. The MeatMasterTM II X-ray  meat analysis system can scan up to 38 tons per hour of fresh, frozen or packed meat and determine fat content and weight with high accuracy, while also spotting foreign objects.

1/3 the size

Smaller and smarter

Around 90% of the major meat producers in the world are using MeatMaster™. At half the length of the original unit and thereby easier to integrate as an ‘in-line’ analyser in production plants, the new MeatMaster™ II unit offers the same performance, while making X-ray analysis in the process more accessible than ever.

MeatMaster™ II is a great opportunity for meat companies to get full control of the fat content in their products.

Improvements with the new MeatMaster™ II includes:

  • All aspects of the instrument have been fine-tuned.
  • Installation can be completed in a day using a supplied calibration and with local support from FOSS experts.
  • New software options supplied as standard include multi-language interfaces and process control software for fully automated control of batches.
  • The IP69K unit is robust and designed for easy cleaning and maintenance.  For example, the belt can be removed for cleaning in less than two minutes.

Now is the time for everyone to get into in-line fat analysis.

X-Ray Technology

100% control with X-ray

FOSS X-ray technology gives you unrivalled accuracy whether you are measuring fat content, weight or detecting foreign objects with a density higher than 1.7 g/cm3 (metal, bone, glass etc.). The system scans 100% of the meat in the form of whole cuts, trimmings or minced meat up to 20 cm in height. The meat can be in cartons, plastic trays or loose on the belt, chilled and/or frozen.
