Throw away those crumpled notebooks. Your new Kjeltec™ 8400 system allows you to register samples and track results on-line for improved operations and traceability. Samples can be registered via a PC connected to the instrument – simply click and send the batch to the analyser.
You can also connect the instrument to your laboratory network. The PC software works perfectly with your LIMS system so you won’t need to enter sample weights twice. Plus, you will have all the information you need for reporting in one place. Compass itself works like a network as you can connect several Kjeltec™ units in the same system.
Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) routines are supported by Compass by e.g. user accounts, storage of raw data, complete documentation of all events during analysis – to get full traceability of all analysis.
Compass
A full version of Compass including all functionalities. Compass has a “two-way” communication with Kjeltec 8400 Analyzer unit, i.e. besides sample registration and sending batches to the Kjeltec, all results, data and events from analysis will automatically be sent to and stored in the PC and SQL database.
Compass Light
A limited version of Compass, supplied as standard with Kjeltec 8400 units. Provides one-way communication for simple sample registration, including sample weight transfer.
Compass requires a license key which is linked to a specific Kjeltec Analyzer unit.
