Fibertec™ Systems
FOSS provides a wide range of fibre determination instruments. They are all developed to meet recognised methods and standards. The main applications are crude fibre, detergent fibre and dietary fibre determinations.
Systems Fibertec™ 2010 and Fibertec™ 1020 (M6) are dedicated for fibre determinations according to Weende, van Soest and other recognised methods. Single or sequential extractions including boiling, rinsing and filtration are performed under reproducible and controlled conditions. The Fibertec 2010 is a semiautomatic system using internally preheated reagents, which are added in a closed system to minimise contact with hot reagents, while Fibertec M6 is using externally preheated reagents.
The FiberCap 2021/2023 system is specifically designed to provide a low cost, high capacity solution for fibre determination with results in accordance with the Weende, van Soest and other recognised methods. The FiberCap system is available in either 18 or 6 position systems and one operator can easily handle several systems simultaneously giving a very high throughput. For example, 4 batches with the 18 position system give 72 finished extractions in 1½ hours.
The Fibertec™ E is designed for rapid and rational determination of dietary fibre according to established enzymatic methods, including those approved by AOAC, AACC, NMKL and Asp. The Fibertec E determines total dietary fibre as well as insoluble and soluble fibres separately.
