Oil Crushing
For oil crushing the Infratec™ 1241 Grain Analyzer  allows rapid yield prediction at the intake of oilseeds and a tight control of the crushing efficiency.

How fat is your feedstock ?

The oil content and your ability to extract it from the feedstock are the two major factors influencing the productivity and efficiency of your operation.

It is essential that you get the highest yielding oil seeds into your plant and that the price you pay correlates to its value. Analyzing your incoming raw material with the FOSS Infratec ™ 1241 Grain Analyzer gives you immediate information about a batch (moisture, fat) to determine its yield potential and value.

Squeezing the profit out of every seed
Oil pressed out of the feed stock has a higher value than if it is left in the press-cake. Various problems in crushing can easily result in a press-cake with 15-20 % oil instead of the targeted ~ 8-10 %. Rapid detection and quantification of these losses allow an efficient and profitable operation.

Analysis of the press-cake can be done with either an Infratec 1241 or the Infraxact ™Analyzer and can be done by any of your staff, anywhere in the plants, around the clock and with results delivered in less than a minute.

The value of your co-product
The press-cake from the crushing is valuable as feed or as a feed ingredient and this value depends on its composition: moisture, oil, protein and fiber. Being able to analyse the press cake and providing Certificate of Analysis (COA), if required, is a vital step to secure future revenues from this co-product. Infratec 1241 and Infraxact gives you the information you need.
