FOSS offers solutions for compositional analysis, with reference methods, of food (such as milk and milk products, meat and meat products, fish, flour, vegetables, canned food, baby food, snack food, fruit juices, petfood, bread and processed food), feed (including a wide variety of ingredient raw materials, grains, oilseeds etc.), soil and water and beverages (such as beer, wort and malt). Our systems are found in more than 30,000 laboratories world-wide. Our goal is to supply methods and equipment for testing of key parameters using reference methods officially approved by ISO, AOAC, IDF, EPA, etc.
The major applications covered are analysis of nitrogen/protein, free and bound fat, extractable matter, crude, detergent and dietary fibre, as well as nutrient parameters in water. In addition, a broad range of sample preparation tools are available to complement the analytical equipment.
